Welcoming the autumn months
Here at Fischer’s we’re getting ready to greet the change of seasons with some warming additions to our menu, joined by some returning classics, reflecting winter in Austria.
Head Chef, Jenson Santos shares the details of the new dishes here, plus the inspiration behind them.

Borscht
“This earthy winter soup originating from Eastern Europe is perfect for for the colder months in London.”

Scallops au Gratin
“Scallops are a luxury ingredient, the perfect celebration dish to get into the festive period this season”

Venison Goulash
“Being a seasonal product, Venison is a staple in many dishes across Austria during the winter. Served with root vegetables for a rustic crunch, pulling through the flavours of the meat.”

Roasted Duck Leg
“Inspired by the St Martins Festival in Austria and Germany, where goose is cooked with red cabbage and Bratkartoffel (sliced potatoes with bacon). In this dish, the traditional use of goose is replaced by duck.”

Bananas Foster
“This warm comforting dessert is perfect for the colder months in London. Not only delicious, but a theatrical end to your meal with the dark run flambe elevating the dish.”
